Teacher

As a teacher Jerome is constantly evolving, incorporating basic drumming fundamentals, coordination, reading skills, musical concepts, listening, intention, breathing, and meditation. He also has been leading rhythm and dance classes for adults and children.

"Jerome has taught at Chuck James' Drum shop for approximately six years. He has taught beginner, professional, and advanced students as well. I might add that he has also had the opportunity to work with mentally and physically challenged students, and was very successful at this. He has also helped to manage the Drum shop and work in all aspects of the 'Family Business'.

He personally helped me and ensemble of young percussionists with a performance that we took around the island. He worked with us months in advance to make sure we were adequately prepared. Jerome is also an outstanding percussionist, and his musicianship has never failed to impress me. He himself was taught by his father, a renowned drummer and even traveled abroad to study alternative methods.
